Save My Shorts

a short film
A house that won't sleep, a phone that won't stop. Pirou dimmed the lights and stepped well back for this one.
This is one of them. A house holds its breath, a phone rings in the dark, and a voice on the other end seems to know the staircase better than the woman walking down it. The kind of short that gets under a door and stays.
I usually dance the house lights down. For The Call I left one on — and I held the railing the whole way. Sit close if you're brave. The seat next to you is saved.
