a short film
Three doors, three worlds. Pirou dimmed the lights and stepped aside for this one.
Three doors stand in a row. One opens on a rain-slick alley with a single lamp burning. One breathes steam off a stone bath in some old, arched room. One is a warm pantry, herbs hung to dry, a light left on like someone's coming back.
None of them are exits. They're memories — the house keeping the rooms it has loved. Step through any one and it remembers you were there. That's a thing worth saving: a little film that treats a door like it has a heart.
